Dr. Antolak is The Gentle Dentist Located in Macomb County
Hi, this is Dr. Robert Antolak from The Gentle Dentist, and the reason why I say this slowly is because there seems to be some confusion.
I’ve been in business for 28 years and my practice is The Gentle Dentist. I am Robert Antolak DDS doing business as or DBA, The Gentle Dentist. I am registered with the state of Michigan as The Gentle Dentist.
The question is, why is that name being duplicated, and so much? I had a friend of mine, a while ago, tell me that plagiarism is the sincerest form of flattery. That might be true but it leads to lot of confusion for our patients.
We get many calls from people thinking that we are our competitors. Actually there is no competition but they try to emulate and duplicate what we do but unfortunately they can’t.
So, in case there is any confusion , we are thegentledentist.com and we are in Shelby Township, Michigan. Don’t confuse us with people who try to emulate, and try to duplicate that name. Why is that so important?
It’s important (and this is why I have to register it even through the state) because obviously people want gentle dentistry and I understand that.
I believe that because of my passion for helping people out, and not wanting to hurt them. That comes from deep within, even to the point when I was in dental school 30 years ago, I numbed myself up in the very front of my mouth. This is because my instructor said, “If you want to do the best job you can possibly do in your future numb yourself up.” From that moment on, I realized how painful it can be.
