As the general dentist, we do many different things in our office, from placing implants and the like. But also something that we do too, is, we do what’s called, Clear Correct. And Clear Correct is a CAD cam which is computer aided design, a way to actually have braces without the braces.
And so actually I’m doing it on my lower teeth to straighten my lower front teeth, and so I’m just gonna pop that out.
Alright, and so this is the aligner. The aligner is actually made from a series of sequences of milk teeth and through computer animation, that animation but they design that so that they can actually move the teeth in sequence. So every 3 weeks I put a new aligner in.
So this is the current liner that I’m using. The next one’s gonna fit a little bit tighter. And see with this design with clear correct, which is similar to invisiline, except I think it’s a little more user friendly for, for us as a clinician.
We actually have different shapes as we can see the progression. So, for example, if a patient of ours loses 1 of their liners, which is very simple to do. They can just come into the office and we can fabricate a new one for them right on the spot so they’re not going to lose time having these teeth move.
See, teeth require slow movement over time. And so what this process does, every 3 weeks we have the patient come in and they have a new, liner placed so that, what it does it continually adapts to those new changes. so, these are, they come in little packages like this for us and they’re labeled so that we know exactly which sequence to go. As I’ve been using it, it’s been very interesting because.
I liked it. I just started using this technology since.
Since the bizlines had some, some ramifications about their dentists using it. The general dentist using it. And so clear correct is actually something that’s been really great. So, I’ve been it at the bottom of my front teeth. And they’re actually pretty comfortable. I’m getting used to using them. They do require though that you have to take them out when you eat and when.
When you clean your teeth. But other than that they’re very strong. I’m amazed at how hard I can bite down and actually not bite through these. And so the, the material it’s made out of is very strong. So if you’re interested in having your, let’s see, your teeth straightened out, maybe they’re 2 or 3 millimeters out of alignment. It’s something we can do, by using these, invisible devices. You know? and snapped inside. You can talk with them, people have no clue that you have them in your mouth.
