Snap On Smile – The Cheap Way to Improve Your Smile in Michigan

The Snap on smile is a technique used by Shelby Twp. MI dentist Robert Antolak to enhance the appearance of one of his patients. This technique is an easy and affordable way to improve your smile. This is not a permanent method of enhancing the smile but can last a couple of years according to the manufacturer. In this video his patient has significant wear on his teeth from years of grinding or bruxism. Because his teeth are short he benefited greatly from having longer teeth. It not only looks better but he will be able to chew better because of the replacement of the missing tooth length.

Top teeth also can look better using this temporary technique. If your teeth are short, small or spaces in between them this could be the treatment you are looking for since it costs around $1000 for an entire arch (upper or lower jaw).

Porcelain Crowns or veneers can cost that much per tooth so this is a good way to make a nice improvement for that special occasion.

If you think you may be a candidate for this then give Dr. Antolak a call at 586.247.3500 and get yourself a free consultation to determine if this can be for you.

Details: A fund raiser for those people who need dental services and who desire to help the earthquake victims in Haiti.

Dr. Antolak was planning to leave for Haiti on January 21, along with 23 members of Faith Lutheran Church in Troy and members of other area churches, to share the love of Jesus Christ through a soccer clinic, working with an orphanage, and performing dentistry to over 250 people who don’t have access to dental care.

Unfortunately, the trip had to be cancelled because of the Haiti earthquake.  This would have been Dr. Antolak’s ninth visit to Les Cayes, Haiti on the southwest coast of the country.  Fortunately the dental clinic and church, where he has served for 8 years, sustained only minor damage. However, Faith Lutheran Church has been working alongside the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Haiti (ELCH) for the last nine years and the ELCH church was completely destroyed in the quake. The ELCH church will not receive any aide from outside public sources to rebuild except through direct private fundraising donations.

In response to the Haiti disaster, Dr. Antolak and his long time friend, Dr. Apsey of Warren, along with several other volunteer assistants, will be offering dental services to local residents who need dental care and at the same time, would like to help the earthquake victims. Services offered will be: Cleanings, x-rays, fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns and bridges and other general dental services.

Donation checks will be made to Faith Lutheran Church and are considered tax deductible.  Those contributing will receive receipts from the church. The suggested donation for services will be based on Dr. Antolak’s normal fee schedule.   “I can personally guarantee that 100% of the funds raised will go to where they are supposed to go. I have been serving in Haiti for nine years and know the pastors there personally and communicate with them on a regular basis.”  Antolak said.

At TheGentleDentist.com we make sure our patients are comfortable with their treatment.  3 Dental implants were placed to replace missing teeth on this patient of Dr.Antolak located in Shelby Twp. MI.  Bone grafts were placed to give adequate bone to place an implant in the location.  When teeth are removed the bone that holds the tooth in place rapidly shrinks up to the point that half of the thickness is lost within 6 months after a tooth is pulled.   It is critical to have an extraction done with the most precision especially if there is the possibility of having a dental implant placed.  This patient had 3 teeth removed without that insight about 5 years before visiting Dr. Antolak.  This left him in a difficult situation so a bone graft was performed to gain thickness of the implant site.  It took about 6 months for this area to heal and then 3 dental implants were placed which now hold 3 separate crowns which can be treated exactly like his own natural teeth.   He can chew what ever he likes and now he doesn’t have to worry about loosing more bone.  Most importantly he can eat comfortably and SMILE!!!  If you would like more information about dental implants or to see if you are a candidate for them please fill out our contact form so we can schedule a free consulation.  Our phone number is (586)247-3500 and we are located in Shelby Twp. MI.  www.TheGentleDentist.com
